PDPlay Poured-in-Place Rubberized Surfacing is an ideal surface when it comes to selecting a playground surface that is safe, durable, attractive, maintenance-free, and environmentally friendly. Poured-in-Place Rubberized Surfacing allows seamless integration of different color schemes and patterns within the play surface and allows for irregular site configurations.
Cost varies depending on color combination, thickness, size of the area, and other site specific factors. The base layer is 100% recycled tires.
$9.25 sq ft. Installed price. Based on non-prevailing wage rates, 2” thick pad, 50/50 mix of black and one standard color, aromatic binder at 1500 sq ft in San Diego County. Assumes good access for trucks and equipment and excludes subbase preparation. Additional options are available such as prevailing wage rates, alternative locations, 100% color, patterns, different depths, larger or smaller square footage, and an aliphatic binder.
