Description
Sand is a natural impact-absorbing surfacing material that’s incredibly tactile. It’s widely considered to be the most economical surfacing material available and can be installed in virtually any environment.
Although sand does not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements on its own, it can be used in conjunction with our Poured-in-Place Rubberized Surfacing to make it ADA accessible.
Cost: $65 per ton. Minimum order of 12 tons in the San Diego area. Available in other locations. Please note sand is not considered an ADA approved playground safety surfacing for commercial playgrounds
